A way of living

My Vision in Life

My vision is to help people see that life's true purpose isn't just earning money — it's finding happiness, peace, and joy.

Money should be used to create meaningful moments with our family, friends, and ourselves — not merely accumulate.

Through meditation, yoga, nature, and mindful living, I want to help my guests reconnect with their inner selves, experience lasting happiness, and grow closer to God.

I believe that a life filled with peace, gratitude, meaningful relationships, and spiritual connection is the greatest success one can achieve.

And I dream of traveling the world — especially the happiest countries — to learn from different cultures and bring those lessons back to inspire others.

The homestay

A Glimpse Into Our Home

Every corner tells a story—of slow mornings, mountain air, meaningful conversations, and moments worth remembering.

Farmers' Cafe exterior with prayer flags against a mountain sky
Where the mountains meet your morning cup
Guest room with woven chairs, soft light, and mountain views
Rooms made for rest, not rush
Warm brass chandelier lighting the cafe interior
Thoughtful details, everywhere you look
Handwoven pendant lamp glowing softly at dusk
Evenings that ask nothing of you

Your host

Arun didn't build this for tourists.
He built it for people who needed it.

Arun left a fast-paced career in the city and came back to the mountains he grew up in. Farmer's Cafe & Homestay started as a small kitchen table and a spare room — now it's a cafe, a homestay, and three tours built around one idea: you don't need a week off the grid, you need three days done properly.

Most people who stay with us aren't running away from anything. They're just trying to remember what quiet feels like. — Arun, host

The cafe

Farm-to-table, because the farm is right outside.

Most of what's on the plate was in the ground or the coop this morning. Come for a coffee even if you're not staying.

We have served hundreds of families and where 200 + families have rated us 4.9 as for our service

Had a wonderful experience at Farmers Café and Homestay. The food was fresh and delicious — especially the bhindi. The owner was very kind and welcoming. There's also a nice play area for kids, which made the visit even better. Overall, an awesome experience. Highly recommended!

Excellent place and very hygienic and fresh preparation of food. Ample parking space. Superb taste less oil, authentic taste of himachali dishes. Have Dal and fresh Bhindi from farm with fresh patode. Fresh kheera direct from farm. Place in the lap of nature. Even lot of activities for kids to have fun and engaged during preparation time.

Situated just by the side of a quiet road, this place is run by a loving family who care about the visitors. They grow a lot of their own food, which is also what they serve at the cafe. So food is delicious and healthy and in the peaceful surroundings tastes even better. You must stop by if you're enroute to Dharamshala or find yourself near Amb.

Tucked away in the heart of the mountains, this charming little café serves some of the best parathas I've ever had! I only tried the parathas, so I'll stick to what I know and they were absolutely delicious. Made purely with aata (no maida at all), they had that perfect homemade taste. They did take a little time to prepare, but trust me — totally worth the wait. Highly, highly recommended for anyone craving comfort food with a view! 🌿🫶

This café is quite large and beautiful, with a spacious and open layout. There are seating options both outside in the fresh air and inside with air conditioning. It's located in a very nice area. I was on my way to Jwalamukhi Temple when we stopped here to rest. The food was amazing and delicious.
